FAQ's
Q: What is a Technician?
A: A Technician is any individual who has taken and passed our online certification training. With this training the individual is now considered a Technician and is able to administer a proper screening using the BPro.
Q: What is a Dealer?
A: A Dealer is any individual that owns a device, is already a certified Technician, and has completed all the requirements and increased training to now go out and re-sell the BPro for a commission. UHS pays a 7% commission on each device a Dealer sells.
Q: How do I become a certified Technician?
A: We offer free online certification videos under the Training tab at the top of this page. Once you have completed the c ertification course, you will be prompted to download your certificate.
Q: How do I become a certified Dealer?
A: The requirements are:
Own a device and be a certified Technician
2. Have completed at minimum 125 screenings and have the documentation to turn in.
3. Send in the Dealer Application with the requisite $500 fee. (Call 801-492-4845 to request an application)
4. Attend one of the live full-day Dealer trainings by UHS.
5. Pass a final screening by UHS to deem the individual capable of such a responsibility.
Q: Does each device come with a Warranty?
A: Each device comes with a 1-year full warranty on parts and repair. We also offer a 2-year re-furbish option. At the end of 2 years, the device can be sent in and re-furbished for free – the owner only pays for the shipping costs.
Q: When are the live trainings?
A: Typically we offer a 4-hour live training on the weekend of the monthly Synergy Fly-in Open Houses. Trainings are offered on the Saturday morning after the open house at Synergy’s corporate headquarters. An e-Club email is sent out to notify everyone about the monthly location and time as meeting details are subject to change from time-to-time.
Q: How accurate is the BPro?
A: Both devices are 99.17% as accurate as femoral catheterization.
Q: Is the BPro FDA approved?
A: Yes, both are approved as Class II medical devices.
Q: What is a Pulse Wave?
A: A Pulse Wave is when the heart pumps and pushes out blood. When the heart pumps it generates a pulse wave which is a contour wave that travels along the arterial tree. The wave form is generated in the big aorta, and is reflected back when the big aorta bifurcates or divides into two arteries.
Q: How long does a typical screening take?
A: The actual screening itself takes no more than 5 minutes. On average, a screening will take 20-25 minutes. The more questions and discussion, the longer the screening takes.
Q: Does it hurt, or is it risky?
A: No, it is completely non-invasive, and painless.
